9.4 Central mailroom AI mailroom

The central mailroom handles the administration of non-assignable mail and special processing orders.

The following functions are available:

New non-assignable mail

Mail that has not been assigned to a transaction type, group or specific user is displayed here. An employee can assign a suitable process type (transaction type) to this mail and determine a responsible user or group.

Other central mailroom processes

• Original requested
  A user of the AI mailroom requests the original document from the central mailroom.

• Original to sender
  A user of the AI mailroom instructs the central mailroom to return the original document to the sender.

• Rescan
  A user of the AI mailroom instructs the central mailroom to rescan the document.
