3. general user roles

The different user groups/roles are described in the following table. The designation “XX” is a placeholder for the abbreviation of the respective application (e.g. NM = News & Messages). The abbreviation “BM” applies to all applications within the portal and to general functions.

Selection of app-specific notification options and individual reminder functions

Access to all activities and the complete archive

Rights within the app can be restricted

XX – App-specific role (name)

Additional administration rights in the application (e.g. creating, managing and deleting categories and specialist topics)

Can define, change and delete editors for areas, categories and specialist topics

Other special rights in addition to editor rights (varies depending on the app)

Special release rights, i.e. release without release workflow

XX – Auditors and approvers

Users in this user group can be selected to review and/or approve (authorize) a message

Processes and manages e.g. requests (if approval workflows are available)

Can create, edit and manage information, messages and documents

Control review and approval workflows

View and read basic information, no authorization to edit or delete

System – User group

The user group either has no access to the application or can see the configured posts/documents according to the respective authorizations.

BM – Revision /

XX – Revision

Access like app administrators, but with read-only rights

No restrictions within the app

Roles exist at the app level and as a general role

Basically, the user groups BM portal administrators, app administrators and at least one other role are required for each module (application).

It is important that roles can be assigned to the groups.

System users (users) can access the bank organization portal and have a standard profile.

A user must be a system user in order to be able to use other applications or to obtain and use other user rights.
