Creation of individual favorites
Users can create their own favorites by defining a name and a URL. Optionally, a category, a short description and an icon can be added. These favorites are then displayed in the “Favorites” area on the dashboard.
Global favorites
Administrators have the option of creating global favorites and categories that are visible and selectable for all users. These favorites are provided in the quick start portlet on the dashboard.
Favorites from link collections
Users can transfer favorites from predefined link collections. This function makes it easier to quickly add multiple favorites from a central collection.
Management and display of favorites
Favorites are displayed in a table with the columns Title, Description, URL, Category and Favorite type. The table can be sorted according to various criteria. Depending on their permissions, users can edit, delete or hide their favorites.
Filter and search functions
The application offers a filter option by favorite type and category as well as a search bar for targeted searches for titles or descriptions.
Quick start portlet
Global favorites are displayed in the quick start portlet on the dashboard and thus enable direct access to frequently used links.
