4.5 Image database

The images used in the portal can be uploaded, saved and managed in the “Image database” module.

Uploading a new image

1. Click on “New global image” to open an input window.
2. Enter the name of the image in the “Title” field.
3. Upload the image file using the “Browse” button.
4. Optional: Use the “Crop” function to adjust the image.
5. In the “Module type” drop-down menu, select the applications in which the image is to be used.
6. Save the image in the image database with “Save”.

Filter and search

• The filter function allows you to search for a title or a module type assignment.
• Only images that are assigned to the selected module type are displayed.

Edit and delete

• Edit: To change an image or assign it to another module type, click on “Edit”.
• Delete: An image can be removed using the “Delete” button.

Replacing a picture

• If an image is replaced, the title and the module assignment are retained.
• When creating new posts in the assigned applications, the updated image is automatically suggested.
• Existing contributions retain the old image
