1.2 Important overarching functions

Assistants (Wizards)

The applications contain wizards that guide users through the creation and editing of content.

Notifications

The notification system informs users about important actions and changes. A number on the bell at the top right of the dashboard indicates new notifications. Examples are

  • A pending release that requires a user action.
  • A new task in task management.
  • A newly assigned message in the AI mailroom.

User and role administration

The bank organization portal includes comprehensive administration for users, roles and groups.

Event log

The event log records test logs and application events for tracking purposes.

Filter options

Filters can be used in all portal applications to search for specific processes, messages or notifications. As the filter options vary depending on the application, they are described in more detail in the respective range of functions.

Global search

The global search function enables a quick and precise search for entered terms.

Configurations

Comprehensive settings for the global search, notifications, user and group administration can be made centrally.

Responsive design

The portal adapts dynamically to different screen sizes and enables location-independent use on mobile devices.

Show and hide columns

Columns can be customized in extensive tables. A list of all columns can be called up via a button with three dots. There, the user can specify which columns are to be displayed or hidden.

Column sorting

Table views are sorted using small arrows in the column headings. Clicking on them changes the sorting to alphabetical ascending or descending.

Important notes:

  • The LDAP connection (synchronization) is a basic requirement for setting up the portal
  • Every user must belong to the User group.
  • Application administrators have access to all tabs of the respective application.
  • The portal administrators have access to all applications as well as the Administration tab, where they manage central settings.
  • Users can only access applications for which they are stored in the corresponding user groups.
  • To ensure trouble-free operation of the bank organization portal, the current system requirements must be observed.
