8.5.2 Global categories

Each favorite (except for Quick Links) must be assigned to a category. In the “Global categories” area, the FA administrator and the BM portal administrator can create categories that are visible to all portal users.

The overview table displays the name of the global category as well as an edit icon, a delete icon and arrows for changing the order in which the categories are displayed at the end of each row. The overview table can be searched for category names using the search bar.

When editing or creating a category, the visibility of the category is defined in addition to the name. The administrator can choose from various user groups which are shown the global category.
